Truth time. I couldn't even finish this book. I got half way through (which is why it didn't get a 1, because I at least made it 250 pages in), but I lost interest. I've tried for the last month to finish it and I just can't. I have no desire, and tried to force myself to finish it for the sake of finishing it (I'm not one to quit anything, especially a book!) but I just couldn't.
I can't even quite name why...other than, it just wasn't compelling enough. I love murder/mystery/thrillers, they're my favorite genre, but this just didn't do it for me. The characters weren't great, the story lagged for the first 50 pages, picked up, which kept me in it, and then died off again in the middle. I NEVER not finish a book, so it feels like mutiny, but I only have limited free time, and this just didn't cut it.
I'm moving on... #sorrynotsorry
